That’s why we are committed to creating safe and fun environments where your children are taught about the Bible and the love of Jesus through relevant, age-appropriate kid-style celebrations. Our ultimate hope is to see a generation of children come to know God at an early age.
We bring kid-inspired fun to every celebration and classroom through energetic worship music, interactive games, and bright, friendly environments. Our team is made up of people who feel called to share the love of Jesus with kids, and every weekend they help bring excitement and enjoyment to your child’s church experience.
Your child’s safety is incredibly important to us, and we are committed to a system that creates a safe environment. This means our staff and volunteers in every celebration and classroom have completed a background check. VCC has a uniformed police officer present and our entire team is thoroughly trained and immersed in a culture of safety and cleanliness with the wellbeing of your child in mind.
As a church, we are always investing in the next generation, and this starts with babies and kids. From praying over infants to sharing relevant Bible lessons with elementary kids, our goal is for each child to learn about the Bible and experience God’s presence weekly. Vineyard Kids celebrations are modeled stylistically after the adult celebrations and follow the ORANGE curriculum (with parent resources provided), so that the entire family can discuss what they learned at church on the ride home!
PRESCHOOL: FIRST LOOK
Our preschool combines the critical influences of the church & home to incite wonder, provoke discovery & fuel passion in the hearts of the next generation.
Every weekend is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age-appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three simple, but powerful truths:
- God Made Me
- God Loves Me
- Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever
ELEMENTARY: 252 BASICS
Our elementary classrooms are designed to instigate discovery & invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in a relationship with Jesus.
So, why are the elementary classes called 252? It’s not our street address or the number of questions your average 2nd-grader can ask in 20 minutes. Instead, everything we teach in 252 Basics is based on one of three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52:
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
