WHAT HAPPENS AT A LIFEGROUP GATHERING?
You’ve probably seen LifeGroups meeting and not even realized it. A LifeGroup looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest. At its core, a LifeGroup is a small gathering of people, and it is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. By participating in LifeGroups, you can expect to connect with others through a common activity, engage in life giving conversation and request prayer.
HOW OFTEN DOES A LIFEGROUP MEET?
Our LifeGroups meet all year long—winter, spring, summer, and fall. During the year, most groups meet once a week. LifeGroups are meant to bring meaning and community into the flow of your life, so even if you can’t attend every gathering, there is still great value in joining a group.
WHERE DO LIFEGROUPS MEET?
LifeGroups happen everywhere, from the church building to inside HOST homes. Check out our groups page, where you can learn more about where LifeGroups meet and you can find a group to visit.
HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL LIFEGROUP STAY TOGETHER?
It varies. LifeGroups can meet for a whole series and align their group to the messages or a group can be together indefinitely. As relationships form, some groups choose to stay together for a longer period of time, but new members are always welcome. And new groups are always starting and you're encouraged to start your own if you can;t find one that fits into your schedule. This way, new people can join groups easily and regularly.
We launch new LifeGroups twice a year: once in the winter/spring season and one in the fall. These groups are designed to align you and your group with the current message series and bring our church together as a whole.
